Opening the Heart Through Loving-Kindness
Well Being Retreat Center
Friday April 2-Sunday April 4
What would it feel like to be spontaneously open, loving, generous, and fearless? Buddhism teaches that these are the natural qualities of the heart that emerge from the cultivation of loving-kindness and compassion. With the support of beautiful surroundings, good companions, and profound teachings from the Theravada and Tibetan traditions, we will cultivate these ancient practices of healing and protection. The retreat will be conducted in Noble Silence with periods of sitting meditation, walking meditation, solitary practice, Dharma talks, and time for Q & A. Private interviews with the teacher will also be offered.
Check-in will begin at 4:00 on Friday. The retreat itself will begin after supper on Friday and will end with lunch on Sunday.
