Discovering the Great Perfection

Tibetan Buddhism holds that everyone has the innate capacity both to receive and to extend unconditional love and compassion. The meditations in this class help us access that capacity experientially. The meditations are drawn from the Dzogchen (Great Perfection) tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, yet they are informed by modern psychology and designed for western audiences. The instructions are quite clear and precise, and they easily can be adapted to anyone's spiritual tradition or worldview.

Unconditional Love, Part 2 is a continuation of Unconditional Love.  If you want to take Unconditional Love, Part 2, but did not takethe first class, contact John: johnmb1948@hotmail.com

Unconditional Love, Part 2 meets once a week for four weeks.   Classes will include teaching, discussion, short meditations, and time for Q&A.  Previous meditation experience is not required to practice and benefit from these meditations.

As a handbook and guide, we will be using Awakening Through Love:  Unveiling Your Deepest Goodness (2007) by Lama John Makransky.  Students are strongly encouraged to obtain a copy.

This will be a hybrid class, taught in person at the Meaningful Life Center and simultaneously on Zoom.

You will receive a confirmation email within 2 business days.  Prior to the first class, you will receive class information and materials.
